CSN has launched a vocational training program in Beauty parlour skills, specifically targeting community women and mothers from socially and economically disadvantaged families. The program focuses on those who are unemployed or engaged in irregular, low-paid, or daily wage labor, domestic work, construction, or street vending.
This six-month training, financially supported by Stiftung 100, Germany, involves 20 women and runs from June 30, 2025, to December 31, 2025. The program was inaugurated on June 30, 2025, by Mr. Rajesh Dangol, President of Ward No. 25, KMC. The main objective of this training is to empower women by providing vocational beauty care skills, and enabling them to engage in regular income generating activities by involving them in this profession.
Achievement: With financial support from Stiftung 100, Germany, a total of 29 participants have already completed similar Beauty parlour training programs to date. Most of them have started small-scale businesses or self-employment ventures in the same field and are now earning a regular income.
