Chhimeki Sanstha Nepal is involved in working with urban poor families of Kathmandu Metropolitan City since its inception in 2004. It has provided training on “cooking and housekeeping” targeting to women with the aim to support urban poor families for their better socio-economic status, who especially compel to work on daily wage work due to lack of skills and education. Mother’s whose children taken child care services from Chhimeki and having poor economic status are the central focus. A total of 19 mothers (10 in cooking and 9 in housekeeping) were participated in cooking and housekeeping training.
