Organizational Structure

Chhimeki’s governance system is exemplary with transparent and highly participatory elections being organized every 2 years. As a result of this approach Chhimeki has become a thriving social movement which has been able to establish a strong platform. Currently, Chhimeki has 9 elected board members, 310 registered members and six full time core staff and two part time staff.

 

Board Members

 

 Hem Kumari Adhikari(President)

 

Hem KumariAdhikari: President, CSN, elected for the period of 2 years from September 2019.  She was trained as a volunteer by this organization in 2005 and then she has been involved working in Ward No. 13 of KMC as an active volunteer. In 2010, first time, she was elected as a board member and in 2015 she was elected for Vice- President. She has contributed a lot for community people for their access to income generation, nutrition and health. 

 

 

 

 



Gita Sharma Rijal(Vice president)

Gita Sharma Rijal: Vice President, CSN, elected for the period of 2 years from September 2019. She was trained as a volunteer by this organization in 2004 and then she worked as a Community Facilitator for 8 years from 2005 to 2012 in Ward No. 14 of KMC. She was elected as a board member in 2017 and work for the organization as an active board member. Her valued representation since then is a praiseworthy asset for the organization.

 

 

 

 



Anjali Maharjan(Treasure)

 

Anjali Maharjan:Treasure, CSN, elected for the period of 2 years from September, 2019. She worked as Community Facilitator for 9 years from the period of 2004 to 2012 in Ward No. 18 of KMC. She was trained as a volunteer by this organization in 2011.She was also the former treasure elected in 2017 for the period of two years and again elected in same position for the current tenure. She has been actively involved in assembling community mothers and worked for upgrading their socio-economic condition, community exposure and better livelihood condition. 

 

 

 



Kabita Lamichhane(Secretary)

 

Kabita Lamichhane: Secretary, CSN, elected for the period of 2 years from September 2019. She worked as a Community Facilitator for 9 years from the period of 2004 to 2012 in Ward No. 14 of KMC. She was trained as a volunteer by this organization in 2011.She was also the former Secretary elected in 2017 for the period of two years tenure and again elected in a same position for the coming two years tenure. Her active involvement in this organization do support in building network with community people, beneficiaries and the stakeholders. 

 



KesariMaharjan(Member)

 

Kesari Maharjan: Member, CSN, elected for the period of 2 years from September, 2019. She was trained as a volunteer by this organization in 2004and then she has been involved working in Ward No.25 of KMC as an active volunteer. She was also the former board member elected in 2017 for the period of two years and again elected in same position for the current tenure. Her community work is remarkable for mothers and women, who were working inside household, poor, lack of access to health care and other income generation activity. 

 


 

Saraswoti Lamichhane(Member)

 

Saraswoti Lamichhane: Member,CSN, elected for the period of 2 years from September, 2019. She was trained as a volunteer by this organization in 2012and then she has been involved working in Ward No. 13 of KMC as an active volunteer. She was also the former board member in 2017 for the period of two years and elected in same position for the current tenure. Her dedication to community work in favor of poor, marginalized, disadvantage and rental families got reward her to reach in this position.

 

 


 

Goma Shrestha(Member)

Goma ShresthaMember, CSN, elected for the period of 2 years from September, 2019. She was trained as a volunteer by this organization in 2006 and then she had been involved working in Ward No.:32 of KMC as an active volunteer.  She is a new board member elected for CSN. Her community work is remarkable for mothers and women, who were working inside household, poor, lack of access to health care and other income generation activity.  

 

 


Indira  Magar(Member)

 Indira  Magar : Member, CSN,  elected for the period of 2 years from September, 2019. She was trained as a volunteer by this organization in 2005 and then she has been involved working in Ward No.32 of KMC as an active volunteer. She is a new board member elected for CSN. Her hard work in favor of community people; especially for mother, and pregnant women and migrated families awarded her to reach in this position.

 

 

 


Uma  Devi Timsina(Member)

 Uma  Devi Timsina: Member, CSN,  elected for the period of 2 years from September, 2019. She was trained as a volunteer by this organization in 2012and then she has been involved working in Ward No. 32 of KMC as an active volunteer.   Her dedication to community work in favor of poor, marginalized, disadvantage and rental families got reward her to reach in this position.
